Thatcham Classic Car Show

Sunday 29th June 2012 we gathered at Henwick Field for the Thatcham Family Fun Day and Classic Car Show. The weather was beautiful just right for a day out. We started out with 9 cars from Area 1 and were joined by another 7 Jaguars including 2 C type Replicas. We had a very interesting and relaxing day talking with visitors to the show and with our new Jaguar comrades. About 150 cars entered the show, the biggest atendance ever. Amongst these beautiful vehicles was a favourite, not ostentatious or flashy but a beautiful 1939 Austin 10. Why is it special? Because I use to own one back in the early 60's and I sold it for £25.00 Doh!!!. A great day out and we will look forward to doing it again next year,
